WP15000 is a homogeneous stretchable polyurethane membrane that is wind and waterproof. The membrane, combined with other materials, creates a waterproof sock around the foot. The composition of the membrane allows moisture to be transported out of the sock without letting water in. The tests are carried out in laboratories where the shoe is placed in a walking simulator in water and flexed over 15,000 times.
