The EU declaration of conformity is a statutory document in which the manufacturer certifies that the product complies with the requirements of EU Regulation 2016/425 for personal protective equipment and relevant safety standards. For safety footwear, this means, among other things, that the products are tested and certified according to applicable EN ISO standards before they can be sold within the EU.
